“Pay What You Want” Marketing Advice

The internet marketing legend Ben Young has been offering “pay what you want” marketing advice since April 2009.

I think the idea is a good one, so I’m copying it.

How does “Pay What You Want” Marketing Advice Work?

It’s simple:

  1. Give me a call on (07) 575 8799 and tell me about your business
  2. I’ll ask dozens of probing questions and we will come up with as many ideas as we can within 45 mins
  3. You decide how much $$ those ideas are worth to you
    • If it’s zero, that’s ok
    • If it’s $52.34 or $237.89 or $412.06 that’s great!
  4. You deposit that amount into my business account
    • Kiwibank
    • Marketing First 2009 Ltd
    • 38 9006 0580369 00
    • And I’ll email you a receipt
  5. 20% of which will go to the “Charity of the Day” on DailyCharity.co.nz

If you call when I’m busy, we’ll make an appointment to talk later.

What might we talk about?

  • What 3 improvements should you make to your website?
  • Should you start a Twitter account?
  • Should you have a Facebook business page?
  • How could your radio ad be improved?
  • Should you spend $3000 on Yellow Pages this year?
  • What is it your customers really want?
  • Which of your competitors should you watch closely?
  • Why should your customers choose you?
  • How can you use free email newsletter software like MailChimp to get old customers back?

I freakin love this stuff!

I’d love to find out about your business and help you out.

So call me now on (07) 575 8799.

Cheers,

Sheldon Nesdale
